Primary Skill Sets:  SIEM, UEBA, Cyber Security, SIEM Deployment, Proof of Concepts , Presales

Secondary Skill Sets:  Networking, Enterprise Computing, Application Security, Linux

 POSITION SUMMARY:

The Pre-Sales Engineer will conduct all pre-sales activities to support global systems integrators and telcos.  The position is U.S. based. These activities include demonstrating the technical and business value of the Securonix solutions to partners, potential partners, and their clients or prospects. This position requires that the candidate be a security industry subject matter expert and have experience in security operations and incident response.

 POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Articulate and demonstrate business value of Securonix solutions.
  • Assist Sales Executives to show the business reason and value documentation for partners and their customer and prospects.
  • Conduct presentations at local/regional/national conferences to evangelize Securonix solutions and messaging.
  • Support the business by training and enabling Securonix partners and customers through workshops, enablement, and other exercises.
  • Assist Securonix partners with RFP responses and coordinate with proper internal resources.
  • Manage POC project deliverables and timelines and shorten sales cycles when possible.
  • Coordinate, request, and align company resources for POC execution and value delivery.
  • Build win-win relationships with external customers/prospects as well as internal departments (Security Engineering, Product Management, Development Engineering, Architecture, Professional Services, Cloud Operations, and Technical Support).
  • Enable partners and ramp up the selling and delivery of Securonix-based services.
 

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in the Information Technology Industry.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Sales Engineer, Solution Architect and/or client or partner facing Cyber-Security Consultant.
  • Successful track record of new partner acquisition and business development in several industries and ability to exceed sales targets.
  • Excellent planning, time management, communication, decision making, presentation, organization, and interpersonal skills. Self-starter who will meet or exceed personal goals.
  • Technical understanding of cyber security products, methods, and technology trends in the current market.
  • Understanding of networking, application security, detection engineering, and investigation and response in a medium to senior level capacity.
  • SIEM or UEBA deployment experience
