POSITION SUMMARY: 

He/She will be responsible for SFDC administration, general system maintenance, to maximize system efficiency and capitalize on the full features and benefits of SFDC based on the needs of the organization. 

Apart from strong technical skills on the salesforce.com platform, he/she will partner with business analysts, end users, and IT personnel to create and implement end to end solutions.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

Salesforce.com –

• Perform system administration task of SFDC; Design, Develop, Test, Document and Deploy scalable and efficient business solutions on the platform
• Hands-on configuration of new and existing SFDC features including user management, page layouts, validation rules, workflows/Process Builders, security, custom objects, Lightning Pages, Custom Settings, Managed Packages etc.
• Updating User access and permissions, Profiles, and Role hierarchy and assist in troubleshooting (if needed)
• Adding new fields and modification of existing fields, updating report layouts and formulas to correspond with changes in the business
• Data management to improve Salesforce data quality (Periodic clean-up of duplicates (Leads, contact, Accounts etc., implementing rules and automation as needed) 
• Scope and create change management policies
• Proactive system maintenance including Release Updates, Health check, and Optimization
• Assist in the integration of any new tools with SFDC and implementation of special projects (if any) 
• Create a platform roadmap and define the priorities, liaising with stakeholders
• Manage the Lead assignments and account reassignments in SFDC
• Responsible for creating and managing system reports and dashboards (Leads, Pipeline, Forecast, Productivity metrics, etc.) 
• Prepare project documentation including technical specifications and unit test scripts.
• Perform unit testing and fix defects. Support the user acceptance test activities.
• Work with management to identify new and creative opportunities to leverage the data to support additional business processes or functions
• Drive new initiatives, collaborate with other teams, and prioritize time effectively to deliver high quality results in a timely manner
• Perform system administration for other Sales and Marketing Tools like CPQ, Marketo etc.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Minimum 4 - 6 years of proven work experience as a Salesforce Administrator/ Developer or similar role
• Salesforce certified administrator (Salesforce advanced administrator preferred). Developer certification a plus
• Direct experience with configuring and customizing lightning and lightning components
• Experience in performing Salesforce upgrades and ensuring successful integration (experience with at least one complete Salesforce.com implementation a must)
• In-depth knowledge of Salesforce products and their functionalities (data models, data architecture, and data management, Integrations etc.).
• Advanced user in Microsoft Excel and proficient in other MS Office tools for managing data and performing quantitative analysis. 
• Experience programming in Apex or Java, SQL is a plus
• Service-oriented mindset and a passion for learning new technologies, including Sales and marketing tools
• Strong drive for results, ability to handle ambiguity and willingness to work in fluid environments
• Ability to quickly ramp up on new technology and processes
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer science (preferred) or a similar discipline
